Panga Chumvi Beach Resort is a beachfront eco-resort situated on the silvery sands of Matemwe, 45 km from the city center of Zanzibar and 50 km from Kisauni. The resort features an on-site restaurant with a traditional-style terrace, a swimming pool, massage services, bicycle rentals, and free Wi-Fi. Guests have access to a bar and a garden. The resort offers spaces for yoga and vocational training for study groups. It is easily accessible by car, one hour from Stone Town and Zanzibar Airport. The garden grows lemons, bananas, papaya, and passion fruit. Scubafish Zanzibar, a 5 * PADI and SSI dive centre, is located in Matemwe and offers diving and snorkeling at Mnemba Atoll.
